  • Robin, great guide, thank you.
i would like to point out that it is not completely clear that for the quick setup wizzard you first have to start the environment manager then click User Personalization.

    Then the wizzard starts.

    keep up the good work!

  • Hey Robin,

I wanted to know the link from where we can download the appsense management suite. And what is the current version for the same.

    please do let me know.

    Thanks for the post!

    • Hi Ankita, you can download the AppSense DesktopNow suite at your My AppSense page.

  • Hey Robin,

How is it possible to download the source media for appsense. The links are not available on the appsense website. Please help!

    • Hi Ankita, you need to have a (free) MyAppSense account for that. (See AppSense website). Regards, Robin

  • Hi Robin,

Do you have to request a new account by email or is there a register page on the AppSense site I am just not seeing?

      • Robin,

Your step by step tutorials are great.

I want to evaluate AppSense Software and would like to test it in my lab according to your great tutorial.

I would like to know is it free to have an account for everyone with AppSense and also is it free to download evaluation software. I have requested an account since last week after reading your reply here.

But I have not heard anything yet or no email.

        Can you help/advise me.

        Regards

        • You need a MyAppSense account to download evaluation software. Make sure you sign up with a @companyname.com mail address and not a hotmail, gmail, yahoo address or something. Otherwise they will not create an MyAppSense account for you.

  • Hi,

Robin we are going to upgrade appsense from 8.2 to 8.4 versions.

could you please help us on how to proceed and important steps to upgrade without affecting the existing production environment of appsense 8.2 versions.

    • Hi Velumani, I really want to give you the advice to test it first in a test environment. There are a lot of changes between these two versions. Regards, Robin

  • Hello Robin,Is it possible to create a similar infrastructure on Virtual Machines? does it require a different procedure?

  • Hi Robin, We are having issue to deploy appsense EM through console. Everytime it is failing with error code 1603. Upon further research I found that VC 2010++ is missing. Is there any way we can install this pre-req through appsense? We are pushing agent deployment through console..

    Thanks in advance.

  • Looks like they have killed the myappsense page. Is there another way to download the setup files?
